The slide occured when I made an aggressive turn above the narrow gap in the rock band on a slightly steeper angle.

I skiied through the gap and out of the path and watched the snow move past me. This entrained the new storm layer

which had become extremly wet due to sun exposure both yesterday as well as today. I also witnessed many other natural

Point releases, none of which came anywhere near the size of this slide.
