Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

1-3 inches of new snow over last 24 hrs. Graupel and surface hoar on surface on most aspects in the morning. By mid day the sun had started to destroy the surface hoar on the sun-exposed aspects. Southerly sun-exposed aspects had a melt-freeze crust under the new snow. Northery aspects still holding unconsolidated snow. Snow on the sun-exposed aspects was warming up and getting heavier by mid day.
