Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:
Surface hoar on all aspects in the morning hours, disappearing on the solar aspects by afternoon.  Still some easy to moderate CT failures in the upper snowpack - within the new snow from Friday/Saturday and also in the previous snow on density changes.  No propagation results from the ECT's (3x).  18cm of new snow at this location, the old surface crust below the new snow was mostly ski supportable throughout the day on a variety of aspects.  Boot pen was 30cm.  We had some sluffing in steeper terrain within the recent storm snow.  Some of the density changes with the previous storm snow were still observable at this location, not as distinct as before but maybe more than some other areas of our forecast area.  No other signs of instability were seen today.
