By noon today consistent corn up to 2 inches deep existed on the SE-S-SW aspects up to 9200 ft. As in other areas the corn rested on top of a stable and supportable snowpack consisting of layers of melt-freeze snow. A mix of breakable crusts, firm supportable crusts, and some very small patches of isolated soft snow existed above a well consolidated and stable snowpack on the northerly aspects.
