More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Snow conditions had a wide range of variability based on aspect.  SSE aspects had areas with 2" of MF on top of the 1/29 rain crust.   Aspects that were more easterly or westerly had 2" to 10" of transitional snow on top to the 1/29 rain crust with surface snow that was wet or breakable crust.  On shaded north aspects we found wind packed winter snow that was unaffected by the sun.  There were isolated pockets of very small wind slab 3" deep on N and NE aspects on the lee side of ridges.
