Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Video 1 is of a Compression test that yielded a CT 11 Sudden Collapse results on the surface hoar layer buried on Jan. 5th and now about 40cms deep in this location. 

Video 2 is of a nonstandard extra long Extended Column Test (ECT). After having propogation on the standard 90cm wide ECT we created a 200cm wide ECT and shown in the video which also had propogation. 

Other tests in this area were not quite as reactive. 

Photo 1: Light east winds in afternoon were lightly scouring open ridge top areas in the afternoon.
