Observations in this area today pointed to a generally stable snowpack. The issue of concern presented as a lower density facet layer, just below mid height in the snowpack that still shows the potential to propagate following collapse. Other tests showed that collapsing this weak layer is currently unlikely. This layer is a future concern if/when additional loading eventually effects the snowpack.
