Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Full pit dug BTL in open glade with moderate wind exposure.  Slope exposed to sky but minimal sun exposure due to aspect.  Ground was smooth with small brush at surface.  HS 74cm and PF 25cm. Other test pits dug on similar aspect but above TL and BTL yielded stronger results (CTH scores with RP/B fracture character).  All tests showed no fracture propogation (other PST and ECT performed).

Pit dug on lower NW slopes of Anderson Peak. Skied NW aspect from approx 8400' (2560m) to about 7300' (2225m).  Snow depth varied from 20-80cm deep, almost no sun exposure.  Snow in great skiing condition with minimal MF crust or sun crusts.  BTL in open glades had near surface faceting leading to soft snow and great skiing.
