More detailed information about the snowpack:

Snow conditions on Judah are similar to those seen around other parts of the forecast area. Stable melt-freeze snow existed on the E-SE-S-SW-W aspects. About 1 inch of soft corn existed on the surface on the E-SE-S aspects by 11 am today. Snow coverage is quickly decreasing especially on the S-SW-W aspects. Melting on these aspects has exposed large areas of bare ground. The northerly aspects remain frozen and stable. The snow surface on the northerly aspects was dominated by a hard and icy crust.

Photo 1: Looking down a ridge - the bare side faces SW the snow covered side faces NE.

Photo 2: Snow coverage at between 7400 and 7800 ft on the southerly side of Judah. The slopes wrap from SW facing on the climber's right to SE facing on the climber's left. The photo is distorted due to a "fisheye" perspective.

Photo 3: Snow coverage at between 7800 and 8000 ft on the southerly side of Judah. The slopes wrap from SW facing on the climber's right to SE facing on the climber's left. The photo is distorted due to a "fisheye" perspective.
