More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Hard rime crust near the top of the peak transitioned to wet snow around 9000 ft. Trees and rocks above 9000 ft were rime covered in the morning but were shedding their ice on southerly aspects by 9:30am. Large roller balls that apparently ran overnight were also observed.  

Photo 1: Natural slab avalanche that appears to have run overnight.

Photo 2: Numerous large loose wet avalanches also ran overnight.
