Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

3 to 5 inches of soft snow existed above a supportable crust on the sheltered northerly aspects. A firm, frozen scoured surface existed on the more exposed slopes. The west and southwest winds did transport some snow near the ridge lines today, but not enough snow was available for significant wind loading. Snowpit data and general observations did not reveal any signs of instabilities in this area today. Data did indicate that the snow above the rain crust and just below the rain crust continues to grow weaker at a very slow rate.
