More detailed information about the snowpack:

Observations and data did not reveal any signs of instability in the Lincoln Ridge area on northerly aspects below 7800 ft. Overall this area holds a more consolidated snowpack. The Dec. 7th facet layer still exists in the bottom third of the pack but it seems less well developed here than in other places around the forecast area. Snowpit tests indicated that if this layer does break the resulting fracture would not travel very far. On W-SW-S-SE aspects very little snow exists.
