More detailed information about the snowpack:

Toured through the Mt. Rose area today.  Recent storm snow measures in the 2' range and up in more wind loaded locations.  Recent snow is well settled and ski supportive with skipen of 3-4'' and bootpen of 12''.  No signs of any instabilities throughout the area and no signs of any avalanche activity from anytime during the weekend storm system.  Snow profile in wind loaded location near Tamarack Peak showed well consolidated storm snow.  Below the storm snow was a thin crust with rounding facets underneath.  These facets were not showing much reactivity with different snowpack tests.
