More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Overall, very consistent results showing easy failure and propagation on the basal facet layer in this area.  Failure was occuring on the ground and in this area the terrain roughness was very smooth with mostly a scree groundcover.  The mid and upper snowpack are well bonded and mostly uniform.  There were no other signs of instability throughout the day.
