Wind Slabs on Hidden Peak

East winds transporting snow and scouring the ridge at tree line inverting yesterdays tracks. Small wind slabs were active and propagating along the exposed ridge line on top of the cliffs on the SE face of the peak. Size ranged from 4 inch to 16 inches deep in relatively small pockets. One dense slab above a steep slope was triggered at the top to test reactivity and slid into the chute and swept surface snow down the face to the bottom of the meadow. Further down slope a slide from the previous day of wet loose type snow was observed looked to have triggered from another skier.

Below tree line wind slabs did not exist and snow was loose and unconsolidated.
