- Persistent slab - Reported avalanches ( 12 natural, 2 human triggered) All thought to have failed on the Jan 15 buried surface hoar layer
- Wind slab and cornice failure - Multiple natural wind slab avalanches and cornice failures reported during and after the Jan 15-17 storm cycle
- Jan 15 buried surface hoar layer and Jan 5th facet/crust layer on NW-N-NE-E aspects at all elevations. Now buried 4 to 6' + deep
- HS = 2.5-3.5m
- Jan 15-Jan 17 storm cycle deposited 3-5' of snow.
- Gale force SW winds
- Jan 18 light rain/misting event up to 9000-9500'.
