Description of Snow, Weather, and Avalanche Conditions:

Dug a pit on a small, sheltered slope near Wrights Lake at 7,000 feet. There was about 6 inches of new snow, F hard, on top of an approximately 1F to pencil hard crust. The snow below the crust was wet, heavy, and 4F hard. I performed a CT and it fractured on tap 5 at the new snow/old snow crust.
