Description of Snow, Weather, and Avalanche Conditions: 

Blowing snow and active wind transport was observed on the southeast ridge of Tamarack Peak. Wind slabs from 1 to 8 inches thick were observed in low angle terrain throughout our ascent up the low angle southeast ridge. Extensive scouring was evident in the hourglass bowl of Tamarack.
