Horse Canyon, Bear Valley

California Ski Guides guided both Grouse Canyon and Horse Canyon today.  Buried facet layer about 75cm down seemed less reactive in than in previous days.  No obvious signs of instability found in either of the two canyons.

Stability Tests included 2 compression tests.  CT 22 and CT 24, both SC and both at 75cm  ECTX

Pit was dug in a deeper than average spot in the snowpack.  Caution is recommended for spatial variability.
