ECTPs on wind slab and on Jan 4th facets

I skinned from the Carson Pass SNO-PARK to just below the summit of Red Lake Peak, and got propagating results on wind slab with an ECT at one location, and propagating results on the Jan 4th facets at another. Winds were moderate to strong from the W, with signs of recent wind transport observed. Although I saw evidence of light rain to my high point of 9600ft, last night's precip appears to have finished as snow down to at least the SNO-PARK at 8600ft. With the winds, it was difficult to gauge how much precip fell as snow, but I'd estimate only 1- 2". I did not travel on wind sheltered terrain today. Cracking was observed just a few inches down in wind loaded locations, and everywhere that I checked, I found collapsed surface hoar under it. 

Video 1: An ECTP down 40cm on 1.5mm DFs, under 1F hard wind slab (at 0:22 I said "five finger" and meant "fist"). After removing the column, the remaining snow was impressively planar. Jan 4th facets were observed to be 4F hard.

Video 2: At pindrop location. I found the Jan 4th facets close enough to the surface for an ECT that did propagate on a hard tap. Jan 4th facets also 4F hard here. Just above this location, the facets were too deep for an ECT. Adjacent to this location, another ECT propagated on a hard tap, but the failure stepped from the top of the facets to the bottom of the facets, and did not leave as planar a surface as the ECT in the video.
