LTCC Avy 2 Elephants hump

Our group went to elephants hump, on a NE facing slope at 8200', Below tree line, wind affected, with a 15 degree slope. We dug a pit to observe new snow, also cold temp affecting surfaces. We did a Shovel shear test, Compression test, extended column test, Propragation saw test,  and a rutschblock!!!  Weak layer observed and targeted was 10cm down from the surface, and it showed instability with no propragation, consisitently giving us... Progessive compression failures in all tests.
