Reactive facets on Angora

Facets probed 80-120cm from the surface along the skintrack up the N, NE, E aspects of Angora. On a NE aspect at 7500ft, ECTP results where the facets were Fist+ hard, 3mm and down 90cm. The next place I started isolating an ECT was a N aspect at 8400ft, where facets were 4Finger hard, 1.5mm, and down 120cm, and likely beyond the range of an ECT so I didn't continue. No other signs of instability observed today, including from a clear view of steep, sunny slopes on Cathedral Peak. Winds were Calm to Light out of the north, and just enough to blow snow from trees, but no ridgetop wind transport was observed. E aspects were getting a little warm on the surface and may have a light crust tomorrow.

Pic 2: Signs of settlement everywhere. Each time I dug into the snow, it had settled to 1Finger hard above the facets, then 4Finger hard above that, and the surface snow was Fist hard and provided good skiing.
