Description of Snow, Weather, and Avalanche Conditions:

Toured around Elephant's Hump area. Found impressively firm conditions on open north facing slopes in the first part of the day and decent corn like snow in the early afternoon on sunny slopes. Mostly clear skies with intermitten moderate breeze.

Photo 1: Small and shallow loose wet activity on an east facing slope in the early afternoon. The large roller ball happened before today. This was the only instability observed today.

Photo 2: Rock hard conditions around 11am on an open north facing slope.

Photo 3: A few hundred feet away from the open clearing, north facing trees had soft or at least breakable surface conditions.

Photo 4: Top meter of snow. Right side up with some minor irregularities in the top 10 cms.

Photo 5: ECTN 15 down about 10 cms.
