Weak refreeze on Tamarack Peak

Toured in the Tamarack Peak area this morning traveling on all aspects. New snow accumulation was around an inch. N and W aspects had a solid refreeze in open areas, but less so occured near trees and rocky terrain (in these areas, we found breakable crust and punchy surface conditions). E and S recieved a moderate refreeze that transitioned quickly with the intense sun. By 10:00 the new surface snow was very warm, boot pen was at or above boot top and S and E aspects had sticky surface snow over very wet snow conditions.
