Very Warm Temps in the Mt. Rose Area

Warm overnight temperatures with mostly clear skies provided a very brief refreeze of the snow surface in the Incline Lake Peak area.  Very warm temperatures today with light winds felt like the warmest spring day of the season.  E aspects were already too soft by 10am, but SE aspects were supportable enough and provided corn snow.  Snow surface conditions deteriorated after 11am with most all aspects and elevations wet, slow, and deep.  Unsupportable snow at lower elevations made for some deep augering into the snowpack especially around rocks and shallower snowpack areas.
