Description of Snow, Weather, and Avalanche Conditions: 

moderate North east winds were scouring NE slopes near ridge tops, transporting the snow to the south west aspect. 
 

Unprotected slopes on and near the top of the ridge were very wind packed with no boot pen. NE and SW aspects. 
 

protected slopes in the trees on the NE aspect still held cold wintery powder, and the untracked areas have great turns available. 

 

no other signs of instability were observed.
