Pit in Field of Dreams

Went to the bottom of Field of Dreams near Munchkin 1 to dig a pit. Snow was falling from trees during my approach. Did not notice any whumpfing or cracking. Noticed surface hoar on NW aspect near treeline. Pit was dug a hundred ish feet above the field of dreams treeline.

Pack was 95cm deep and found a reactive crust at 45 cm. That layer failed at CT17 Q2. During ECT, propagated at ECT17 Q2. The grains looked to be rounding.

Trees back down skied well.
