Mist/Rain and Recent Windslabs Pole and Deep Creeke

Toured from Olympic Valley to Deep Creek today skiing a variety of terrain en-route. Low snow hazards still exist when accessing Silver Peak from Olympic Valley and I would not recommend using this approach. On the ridgeline between Poulson and Silver Peak, we saw moderate to intense blowing snow from the SW winds and observed 2 windslab avalanches that appear to have run previously, they were being re-filled by blowing snow. Around 11AM it began to mist and the remainder of the day varied between periods of mist, rain, and small frozen ice pellets up to about 8400' including one short period of moderate rain at around 1PM just below 7000'. Widespread pinwheeling was observed with isolated test slopes entraining snow to produce small loose wet avalanches.
