Observation
Description of Snow, Weather, and Avalanche Conditions:

Upon arriving at the Jake's parking areas there was some new avalanche activity on the upper mountain visible from the road.  Other groups skiing in the area stated that two separate skiers had triggered wind slabs avalanches up to 12" in depth on an open section of the East Bowl near treeline (NTL).  They additionally stated that at least one skier had been caught and carried in the avalanche but was unharmed only losing a ski.

Skiing Jake's this morning found good powdery conditions in the morning that consolidated as the day progressed. We found Moderate winds blowing snow loading wind slabs near ridgetops through the entirety of the day.  Loading was most predominately on NE-E-SE facing slope.

We were able to get multiple isolated pocket slabs (perhaps lingering storm slabs) up to 20m in width and up 4 to 6 inches in depth to release in steeper terrain and convex rollovers well below treeline and above 7,500 feet.
