Avalanche on Angora Peak

Traversed under a cliff on the ne slope to access a short steeper pitch. While the second of three skiers made the traverse, the slab broke below him. There was an obvious stauchwall about 50 feet below the crown (photo 2). Despite not bein a large slab nor especially steep terrain the debris ran another 300+ feet down the slope (photo 2). The crown showed two distinct slabs. Bed surface was at 160cm, top of first crown at 201cm, top of second at 224cm (photo 1). Both bed surfaces had some sugary snow on top (photo 3). The slabs were fist-dense snow. Bed surface was four finger dense, transitioning to two fingers at about 100cm (did not dig deeper).
