Observation
Description of Snow, Weather, and Avalanche Conditions:

What appears to be a naturally triggered wind slab avalanche observed from Coyote Hut, in Euer Valley at Tahoe Donner Cross Country. The avalanche slid on the ridge south of Red Mountain just above Frog Lake Road on an East aspect at approximately 7200'. The slope angle at the start zone is estimated to be about 35 degrees. The avalanche likely occoured overnight as I did not observe it while skiing in the same area yesterday afternoon. Ongoig winds this morning appear to have transported some new snow onto the bed surface of the avalanche.
