Blue Lakes - Polaris Bowl

Group of snowmobiles and snowbikes rode the blue lakes area.  We did not notice any rapid changes in temperature. 

We witnessed inconsequential loose snow avalanche activity both human and natural caused in Polaris Bowl.

We dug snow pits at Upper Blue Lakes.  We witnessed a facet/crust combo in the top 30cm, where shovel tilt tests revealed 4 separate, very planar layers. Mixed results on ECTs on the facet/crust combo. 

We witnessed surface hoar that had developed probably from the previous evening.

We did not see any significant wind or storm loading.
