Avalanche above Meiss country

The group of skiers had descended a similar run, but slightly more E facing, a little more than an hour prior. One skier descended to the top of where the slope steepened. The second skier skied towards the first, then asked for an audible for direction to the chute and continued towards it. Turns above the chute released sluff. The skier exited chute to skiers left. Skier then turned right. The turn triggered the slope and the skier lost footing and slid on their right side. Skier was able to self arrest with aid of their arm and their ski just above (or within) the lowest cliff band. One ski remained on the foot and jammed between the rocks, preventing further engagement of the rock and cliff-fall. The slide cleared over the clif, triggering a crown at the clif base. The skier, unharmed, was able to self-extract, sidehill, exit, put on the second ski found on the surface below the rocks and ski out of the slide path before their party descended. It is unclear if the whole crown was triggered by the right turn, or if the sluff from above the skier entrance into the chute caused the skiers right side of the crown to release independenlty. The slide path piled snow on the uphill side of the trees 2m thick at the top of the runout.
