Description of Snow, Weather, and Avalanche Conditions:

Weather and road conditions limited available options today. At Prosser Hill storm snow was around ~120cm. We dug a test pit on a NE slope to evaluate storm snow and the Dec 22 rain crust. This snow is right side up, low density and showed minimal storm slab attributes. Wind slab development in this fairly sheltered terrain was shallow but winds were gusting into the moderate range and producing wind slabs ~10cm.

Skin track refill in ~30min.

Strong winds and copious amounts of snow for transport.
