Observation
Description of Snow, Weather, and Avalanche Conditions:

Touring in the greater Mount Rose area provided strong visual reminders of our current dry spell, warm temperatures, and rising sun angles.  Our tour provided several high elevation vistas that contrasted Southern aspects versus Northern.  The differences were predictable and stark.  Southern aspects are continuing to melt out at a fairly accelerated rate.  North aspects are also beginning to experience more warming.  Facets on a NE aspect near 9,600' were beginning to moisten this morning around 11:30.  Conditions throughout the tour were expectably diverse: wind scour, ice, differential melting inconsistencies and wet snow.
