East wind tansporting new snow.

A steady east wind was present all morning. We saw large amounts of new snow transported to the eastern face of the Sierra Crest between the Lake basin and Donner Summit. Note the long cloud of snow reaching from coldstream canyon, extending up to anderson peak in the midline of the photo.

Wind packed areas observed on the ridge by early morning. Once off the ridge, we did not encounter any other instability. shy of a few unconsolodated surface sluffs in the new storm snow layer.
