  • Storm snow over supportable crust in most areas.
  • Storm snow over old near surface facets in isolated areas on northerly aspects near to below treeline.
  • Mid and lower snowpack well consolidated.
  • Storm event Feb 21-22 with up to 1.5 feet of low density new snow.
  • Variable wind direction SW and NE in the following days with below average air temperatures.
  • End of a 38 day dry spell. Longest mid winter dry spell since 1990.
