Skier-triggered loose wet on Tallac

I (skier) triggered two wet loose avalanches on an ENE aspect while descening Tallac on Saturday, March 27th just before 11:30 am at 7100ft. I was not caught. The snow at this elevation was not boot supportable and was variably ski-supportable.

The first slide was triggered intentionally as a ski cut near the first set of rocks. I wasn't able to maintain momentum because I didn't see a clear path through the second band of rocks. As I got closer to the second set of rocks, where the terrain gets a bit steeper again, I triggered a second wet loose avalanche. This one surprised me a bit (in hindsight, not sure why...) and dragged my ski a little, but I was able to mostly maintain my intended line. I'll admit that the ski cut seemed intruiging given the likelihood of triggering a small slide, but in hindsight it was a bad idea because it left me on a face where I could trigger additional wet loose above rocks that I wouldn't like to have been dragged over.

My partner followed my tracks and did not trigger any additional wet loose.

We got up early to ski to try to minimize our exposure to the day's avalanche problems. Given the warm temps and weak overnight refreeze, this wasn't a fail-safe plan. The snow up high was more supportable, especially in the shade, but we saw clear warning signs at higher elevations earlier in the morning on sunny faces, including large roller balls and unsupportable snow on a (short) section with SE aspect.

In hindsight, we let our guard down too much as we descended to lower elevations on Tallac. We could have easily avoided skiing this small terrain feature with better trip planning or a quick consult of a topo-map, because if we had traversed higher to the skier's right, we would have avoided this rocky, steep face, and remained in lower-angle terrain.
