Description of Snow, Weather, and Avalanche Conditions: 

Skier triggered avalanche. Whumphing  & shooting cracks witnessed 60' from site of avalance in low angle terrain. Skied over to edge of chute and witnessed full slide

Shooting cracks went from low angle terrain near a grouping of trees. Wrapped around the slope and over the edge of the chute. This appreared to cause a full scale avalanch on the previous old snow. Crown appeared to be 1'-3'.  

Continued skiing sub 30° snow. Further whumphing and cracking witnessed in almost every location travel. 8600'-9800'.
