Description of Snow, Weather, and Avalanche Conditions: 

We encountered wind affected snow on all aspects and elevations today, including pretty far down into fairly tight trees. There were zero signs of instability, and I kicked off the biggest cornice I could find (microwave sized) and it simply slid down the slope below. There was minimal wind, minimal sun, and the temp was 25-31F.
