Description of Snow, Weather, and Avalanche Conditions:

Blowing Snow, Many new larger cornices this morning. Able to get test slopes to react and cornices to break.

Wind scouring on the ridges and open areas. Variable.

32cm of new Snow in the morning at 7000 feet, tracks were covered on the way back to the truck late morning.

Better snow in the deposit areas within the trees. Can feel a hard layer below the new Snow on the skis in the not so deep sections.
