Description of Snow, Weather, and Avalanche Conditions: 

Warmer day than the past several, with E winds and new snowfall tapering off mid-day. During occasional weather clearings, I could see some of the steep avalanche terrain on the E side of The Nipple, and didn't see evidence of recent avalanches. The top 4" of snow was denser than the snow over the past several days, but hand hardness profiles were still "right side up," and both formal and informal tests on wind sheltered terrain did not indicate instability.
