More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Noted day-old avalanche debris under recent snow on North-Northeast aspect.  Further study revealed a 200'-300' wide series of crowns above and snow packed several feet up tree trunks.  The crowns that were still exposed were about 2' in height.  The slope appeared cross-loaded from an adjacent and large Northeast slope.
