More detailed information about the snowpack: 

just below saddle of flagpole 8100 east-ne facing total depth 240cm, rain crust dowm 150cm with 6cm facets on top,

upper 75 cm fist to 4 f.  then going to pencil with airey facets on top of crust. facets partially bonded to crust

upon cutting back of column, immediate failure.  ct 0 q2    storm snow was stable, no evidence of wind loading

ski pen. 15-20cm on up  30-40cm on down  skied 3 runs

large crown 3'-5' partially buried by last storm on echo peak lower saddle bowl
