More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Snow pack has condensed well over last few days.  Quick hand pit dug at top of peak in slightly wind effected area.  1 inch soft wind crust above 6-8 inches of fist penetration, above 1 finger snow as far as reached by hand digging.  Snow pack is right side up and well bonded in recent storm snow.  No shooting cracks observed and no sluff on decent. Nice cold temps and great snow.  Pole penetration to about 30-40 centimeters from weight of skinning in up track. Forced penetration felt consistent all the way to handle of pole. 

No observed slides or snow movement from today.
