More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Some cracking around wind loaded rollovers. The cracks remained very small and only occured under the ski and only down slope about 2-3 ft. 3-4 inches of low density snow existed on the surface above 7400'. In non-wind affected areas the snow below this new snow remained soft and unconsolidated above 7400' on northerly aspects. On the more southerly aspects the sun had started to create wet snow on the surface up to 8500'. This will become a crust as it refreezes tonight. Below 7400' dust on crust conditions existed on all aspects. Above 9000' some thin firm wind slabs and crusts existed below the new snow. These likely formed due to wind transport yeasterday.
