More detailed information about the snowpack:

4-9 inches of soft unconsolidated snow remains on the northerly aspects down to 7500'. Dust on crust conditions existed up to 8000'. Above 8000' the crust below the new snow become more variable and much thinner. On the more sun-exposed southerly slopes 1-2 inches of soft melt-freeze snow formed by noon below 8000'.

Photo: Wet, loose sluffs on a SE facing aspect that most likely occurred on 3-26-10. These look to be skier triggerred.
