Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Snowpack is settling well with the various storm snow weaknesses that have formed over the last week bonding well to each other. 4-8 inches of soft unconsolidated snow remains on the northerly aspects and shaded slopes. Sun-exposed areas started to become wet and sticky by noon. Some wind transport has started to occur near ridgelines adding small amounts of new snow to the recent wind slabs. Ski cuts and large pieces of cornices caused no failures on slopes less steep than 38 degrees. On the slopes that have received wind-loading today and are steeper than 38 degrees some cracking did occur in response to ski cuts (photo).
