More detailed information about the snowpack: 

The snowpack in this area ranges from a 1-3 inches at the lower elevations and on more sun-exposed slopes to 30 inches above 8200 ft. Below 8200 ft wet and sticky snow existed on all aspects. Above 8200 ft colder drier snow did still exist on the snow surface on the N and NE aspects. Several barely covered rocks, trees, stumps, and other bone jaring obstacles existed at all elevations. Many of these obstacles remain difficult to see, but easy to hit.

Snowpit tests and general observations showed that the snowpack continues to gain strength and consolidate in this area.  This data showed no signs of instability in this area today.
