More detailed information about the snowpack:

Several inches of soft snow still remains on the northerly aspects on Tallac at all elevations. New snow from last weekend still existed in many areas as well. Along the ridgelines on W-NW aspects as well as on the N-NE-E aspects boot penetration was 15-20 cm indicating that plenty of snow remains for wind transport once the winds increase.

On the more sun exposed E-SE-S aspects, a mix of breakable melt-freeze crusts and wet sticky snow existed.

Handpits, ski cuts on steep test slopes, and general observations did not reveal any significant signs of instability today.
